David E. Snyder
VICE PRESIDENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGY

David E. SnyderDavid E. Snyder, Vice President of New Technology, brings over 25 years of successful research and product development experience in the medical device and electronics industries.

Prior to NeuroVista, David was the Research Director at Heartstream, a Seattle-based division of Philips Medical Systems that revolutionized the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest with uniquely designed defibrillators that make the deployment of these devices practical in a variety of settings. While at Heartstream, he directed laboratory and clinical research efforts for resuscitation products and was the lead presenter at the FDA panel meeting for the Philips HeartStart Home Defibrillator, which resulted in the first over-the-counter clearance for a class III medical device. Prior to Heartstream, David was the Research Manager at the successful medical device company Heart Technology, later acquired by Boston Scientific.

David has authored and co-authored over 20 medical and technical publications and is an inventor/co-inventor on over a dozen patents. David received a BS in electrical engineering from UCLA and a MS in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
